I now have the facility to move posts which are posted in inappropiate forums.

There are two options here:

1. Move thread to different forum & lock thread in original forum - posting note telling you where the active thread has gone.
2. Move thread to different forum & delete from original forum altogether

Which option do you prefer ?

I moved a couple of threads from the F1 forum to the cool sites forum today and i've received complaints due to the fact that I chose the first option as I thought that the second might confuse people and make them think that their post has been deleted.

Your thoughts ?

The first option seems to be the most sensible...

I don't mind because I never post in the wrong place http://www.Ten-Tenths.com/ubb/wink.gif
The first option is obviously the most sensible, as long as all the posts are moved.
Thankyou for asking kind Sir.

Lockiong the threads could CAUSE people 's gone anyway. Option 2 sounds good.

First one seems most sensible, but I also understand what Brett means. That wasn't much help was it! :)

1st one.

PS Craig, I deleted my cookies, wasn't painfull at all, ;) but didn't make any diference. It will all be back to normal for me when I get the other computer back in September. So I'm not going to worry about it.

:D :D :DCraig, I think you have to have a few beers or som BOG first.

"Puting a lock on the threads could cause some people not to even look and just go away"(being pi$$ed off their thread was closed)

That's how I decifered it :)

How's that Brett? ;)
