Post Counts

Post counts are being re-calculated.

As many members are aware certain forums do not count towards your overal post total, the most notable ones are Parc Ferme and, for those that can remember it, Gravel Trap. It is therefore possible that if you've posted heavily in these forums that your post count will significantly decrease.

This recount was due as part of the December upgrade process but was considered time consuming and heavy on server load, with the introduction of the dual servers this is less of an issue and therefore the recount is taking place this weekend.

But Parc Ferme has never counted posts anyways, so I don't see how that would make a difference.......unless you include the old Gravel Trap posts....

Our post counts include those in the Gravel Trap before it was changed to stop counting. After this, presumably, they won't.

Ooh, some of us are in for a big post-count fall here....;)

Why have post counts at all ?

It helps you realise just what a sad little person you really are when you've spent enough time to post 5000+ posts here. ;)

I didn't know that posting on Parc ferme didn't count......but my posting record has now been severily downgraded. I used to have over 1200 posts!! And now only about half that! :mad: :mad: :mad: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
