Anyone got any favourite places to stand in?

If it's Silverstone then it's gotta be the inside of Stowe. Okay, I know I'm just lazy, but everywhere else is too far to walk and you've got to be near somewhere that sells hot chips, especially at a Spring meeting!

Unfortunately I won't know where I'm standing till I arrive on Saturday, my favourite place is the flag point at the entrance to Priory (I ws there for the equivalent meeting 2 years ago and Button was mega through there, you could really see the car working), but I'll go where I'm told.

I can probably guess Franchesca's answer to this question, but does anyone have any opinions on which route is best to prepare a driver for F1?

I'm thinking mainly about F3 and F3000 here, I know there are many other possibilities, but with all the fuss recently about Jenson Button and Kimi, F3000 seems to have been overlooked. Although there are two drivers from last's year's F3000 championship racing in F1 this year, Bernoldi has done his time in F3. Burti has stepped up from F3, but with a year's testing experience under his belt. Last year's British and German F3 champs have both entered F3000 with top teams, although both were inline for F1 testing/driving roles.

Is F3000 becoming obselete as F1's feeder series as many people have suggested recently? Do drivers feel it's not important to rack up plenty of experience anymore? Or does F3 provide a better type of experience? Will Minassian and Junqueira ever return from America? Is CART a viable route to F1?

Enough questions for one post!
