A1 GP on Aussie TV???

There is exactly 4 mounths to go and I havn't heard anything about the A1 GP being shown on Aussie TV.
Does anyone know if the A1 GP will be shown on Aussie TV?
If so will it be on free tv?

I believe a satellite/cable channel (Fox) will show it in Australia.

As far as I know free-to-air highlights programmes are being negotiated

Why?

People with only free-to-air TV will get to see highlights, those with satellite/cable will get to see it live.

Such TV income is vital to a new series.

I cant see channel 10 not getting some sort of action, maybe like moto gp. Live on Fox & delayed on Ten

I can see Channel Serioulsy doing nothing.

Unless the motorracing.tv guys can get it on SBS, it looks like you'll all have to sign up for cable.

I only have free tv. Highlight is not good enough. Every other racing series that has a race in Australia in shown on free tv. I think Motor racing TV will probably show it.

What's ya prob with Pay tv mabs? You'll have to get it if you want access to the good motorsport content, as networks don't see any value in it.

Let 10 have it, only if they show it live. (this may happen because some races will be on during the non ratings season) I have Fox Sports so im happy no matter who gets it

I have herd a rumour or two that Ch7 could be the FTA channel covering the races with Fox doing it on Pay. But they are only rumours-- fingers crossed.

hope a free-to-air channel graps it, hopefully not seven cos if bruce mcavaney or sandy roberts host it i will go bloody bonkos!

Foxtel dosn't even have F1 or Champcars

F1 should be shown on fox sports and Champcars should be shown on ESPN
