A user's name change

I've just been tallying up the scores from the latest round of the Champ Car predictions competition and I have a problem.

A user who was called "Saleen" has changed his name to avoid confusion with "Saleen S7R".

Unfortunately I can't work out what he's changed it to, meaning I can't add the scores up.

What's his new name?

Tsk, you'd think people could think of the perfect name from the start! ;)

Isn't that right ASCII Man? ;)

Well, you know, barring name clashes and all that, you should think hard about your name. Because it's unlikely you'll be allowed to change.

I should know, I spent literally 30 seconds choosing my username!

I spent two seconds chosing mine I just wanted to get posting and chat with other fans, I couldn't care less what my name was, although I wish I took a while now to choose something good, I hate the fact I chose my name spelt with a little l. ;)

Just be glad that you didn't spell it wrong!

The "L" and the "P" are pretty close together on the keyboard, afterall!
:)

Although thankfully the "k" and the "b" aren't, because that would be very farcical.

Is there a possible procedure for changing usernames without losing post-counts etc.? People keep thinking my real name's Bob, despite what my signature says lol. When signing up I simply used an AOL screen name I was with at the time. Kinda wish I could change, but I don't wanna lose the near-thousand posts I've made...

Yeah, but HOW do you change it?

Nintendo, read the link please. If there's anything in that one paragraph you don't understand then please let me know exactly what it is and I'll try to explain it.

Assuming, for a moment, you did the decent thing and read the FAQ, you would have found this:

"The only way to change your user name is to ask an admin to do it for you. This is quite time-consuming for us so we will only do it if there is a valid reason for it. If you would like to request a name change you can contact any of the forum admins."

EvilPumpkin is one of the forum admins. Another one is MagnetOn - both can be contacted via the Private Messaging system to send them a name change request.
