Any ideas what this is likely to be? Same as F1? And when do you reckon we are we likely to get an announcement?

Points systemcrozier74 5 Aug 2005, 14:19 Any ideas what this is likely to be? Same as F1? And when do you reckon we are we likely to get an announcement? :rotate: Kicking-back 5 Aug 2005, 15:04 I'm trying to find out at the moment. mabs_nsx 5 Aug 2005, 17:00 The A1GP points system was shown on the old A1GP website. The points system for the A1GP 2005/2006 season will be as follows: system. 1st=10pts 2nd=9pts 3rd=8pts 4th=7pts 5th=6pts 6th=5pts 7th=4pts 8th=3pts 9th=2pts 10th=1pt I don't like it. They should use the F1 points system. Kicking-back 5 Aug 2005, 17:06 I think the points system is largely irrelevant. This series is about entertainment. That said it'll certainly keep things tight! Asa 9 Aug 2005, 04:29 I remember only countries are awarded points and not drivers. There is no such thing as a drivers' championship in A1GP. Kicking-back 9 Aug 2005, 08:15 Correct ralf fan 9 Aug 2005, 17:19 I'd have liked a bigger gap between 1st and 2nd... maybe 11-9-8 etc. Rob M 10 Aug 2005, 17:11 One point between places is the best way. At least it will keep the battle for the title running for longer. ensign14 10 Aug 2005, 18:38 I think they should take a different tack. Qualifying should be done in multiples of the square root of minus one and race points worth real numbers. Then you'd have arguments as to whether 4 + 3i was higher in the table than 3 + 5i. |
