This new USGP circuit will be built in metro Detroit, on a tract of land near Metro Airport. It is 3.4 miles long, with 13 turns. Gray is the racetrack, yellow is the runoff, red is the pitlane, pink is the paddock, purple are the grandstands.
Mike_Wooshy 6 Aug 2005, 23:39 I really like this track id consider making 8 and 9 more "rounded" to suit the rest of the track, but apart from that thats really good nice work mate !! :)
was that done in paint?

I like turn 8 the way it is, but, yes, Turn 9 should be rounded. I was just too lazy to do it :) .
Mike_Wooshy 7 Aug 2005, 00:28 true turn 8 isnt so much of a problem but those 2 corners because they are more "square" they stick out like a sore thumb on a track thats nice and "rounded" not saying thats a bad thing its variety !! which is great !! :D
I've made Turn 9 rounder, fixed some areas where the runoff area was spilling onto the track, and added spectator embankments, represented by dark green.

Do you have anything to back up your claim? I would of course like to see it happen, but . . . .
