Has anyone heard anything regarding the Canadian franchise in A1GP? I see they are still listed on the official webpage, but does that really mean anything? Has anyone even ponied up any money to actually have the license?
On a side note does anyone know if A1GP will be shown on tv in Canada?
I also was wondering about the Canadian entry. I did some digging today on the Internet. According to THIS SITE (http://www.matrixgroup.co.uk/about_matrix_group/group_divisions/corporate_finance?tandc=agreed), the fellow's last name is Jaski, not Laski as mentioned on the A1GP site.
I fired off an e-mail to him today. If I receive a response, I'll post it here.

Canada entery is happening, but I've heard money has been a bit of a problem.

Would Ronnie Bremer be a candidate for the seat then. I cant think of too many others unless Jacques finds himself uprooted from his BMW seat which looks unlikely at the moment.

Ronnie Bremer is Danish, so he wouldn't be driving for Canada.
Possibilities include Sean McIntosh, Bruno Spengler, Andrew Ranger.

lol (hits self on head) i got mixed up between Andrew Ranger and Ronnie Bremer.
According to another report Canada is testing next Monday at Silverstone.
I have to receive a reply from Mr. Jaski to my earlier e-mail, so I have no idea if he is really involved in the project. This article (http://www.pitpass.com/fes_php/pitpass_news_item.php?fes_art_id=25801) seems to confirm that Canada will indeed be present at Brands Hatch.
