Come on GB though!! :rotate: Milanostah 28 Aug 2005, 23:11 America and Ireland. Red2 28 Aug 2005, 23:28 America and Ireland. Is that because you're and Irish-American? (I'm british hence supporting team GB) orrmate 29 Aug 2005, 00:09 Rule Britannia Britannia rule the waves Britons never never shall be slaves Ready for a good old British arse kicking???? ;) Red2 29 Aug 2005, 01:25 Rule Britannia Britannia rule the waves Britons never never shall be slaves Ready for a good old British arse kicking???? ;) Absolutely - the Empire will rule again EvilPumpkin 29 Aug 2005, 09:46 LOL - Ireland! littleman 29 Aug 2005, 13:24 The great thing about Team GB is we have a really tough, aggressive, outright racer in Robbie Kerr. You just know you're gonna get 100% comittment every lap. Kicking-back 29 Aug 2005, 13:28 I'm supporting Team GB, of course, but I'm also supporting the series overall. Milanostah 29 Aug 2005, 22:27 Is that because you're and Irish-American? (I'm british hence supporting team GB) Basically. SFonseca 29 Aug 2005, 22:33 E ninguém pára Portugal! :) AdamAshmore 29 Aug 2005, 22:44 GB and I'll see how the other racers go to see who else I support. SALEEN S7R 29 Aug 2005, 23:08 Ill be supporting GB, Ireland and USA. In that order. :) Oaksnaf 30 Aug 2005, 06:59 Australia and Portugal EvilPumpkin 30 Aug 2005, 09:26 Ill be supporting GB, Ireland and USA. In that order. :) Ah now here, that's just hedging your bets! foreversideways 30 Aug 2005, 11:15 As we appear to have been on a roll recently what with the Rugby and now the Cricket, i think it could just be GB doing the winning. So i am right behind GB.:#1: :winner: SALEEN S7R 30 Aug 2005, 11:36 Ah now here, that's just hedging your bets! I know. How else do you think I do so well in the predictions championships? Andrew Kitson 30 Aug 2005, 11:44 Not sure if I can get my head around purely supporting the 'nation' thing although I think it is a great idea to try and attract new fans to the sport. I will be watching out for the drivers and teams I know personally. Most nations are run by teams we know well from other series. Great to see Ralphie with a ride and would like to see Alan vdM or Stephen Simpson in the ZA entry, both great guys although Alan has achieved more so far. Had a chat with Stephen yesterday, there with Jonathan Lewis's Comtec Powerboat team at the Lowestoft meeting. Nail biting time waiting to hear if he has the seat, but a lot of competition from Alan and Tomas Scheckter! mabs_nsx 30 Aug 2005, 15:04 Australia and Italy if they get a team. go-jordan 4 Sep 2005, 18:18 Ireland, Ireland , Repubilic of ireland. I think they have a great chance of winning the championship. Ralph Firman is probably the best of the drivers and developed the car also. I feel it will be between Team GB, Team Ireland and team Netherlands any other suggestions. thejester 5 Sep 2005, 06:57 As we appear to have been on a roll recently what with the Rugby and now the Cricket, i think it could just be GB doing the winning. So i am right behind GB.:#1: :winner: Umm, I do believe you recently got your arses handed to you on a platter in the rugby. :p Or are you doing that peculiarly english thing of confusing England with Britain? Hmm...no, still applies. :p ...oh...the World Cup? 2003? 'Recently'? Get over it. See you in November. ;) Anyway, I'll be supporting, as the Sheik intends me to, my home country of New Zealand. Other than that, well certainly the series as a whole, and hopefully some non-traditional nation that punches above it's weight. anakmelayu 23 Nov 2005, 07:09 team malaysia! good to see the team on the top 10 Hatz 23 Nov 2005, 09:14 I support good races, because Team Austria really sucks. Fiorentina 1 24 Nov 2005, 06:17 USA, Switzerland and Pakistan. USA because I live and race here, and always support Americans abroad. Switzerland because that is where I am orginally from. Pakistan because I always like the underdogs. It is really cool to see a country like that involved in racing and doing well. Pakistan reminds me of the Jamaica of the Winter Olympics and Cameroon of soccer in WC 1990. IronLion 24 Nov 2005, 07:34 Australia first and foremost. Czech Rupblic secondly Kiwi3 24 Nov 2005, 11:05 New Zealand, although it was not much fun being the sole NZ fan at Sepang when we were overtaken by Alex Yoong three times during the feature race... |
