Following the success of the F1 and ChampCar competitions, some members had suggested to me doing an A1GP competition.

So, here are the rules.

I will post a thread for entries ten days before each race.

A1GP will have qualifying for its sprint race, and the result of that sets the grid for the "Grand Prix".

So, you will post the polesitter for the sprint race (ie fastest in qualifying), the winner of the sprint race, and the top six finishers in the main race.

Eg:

POLE: Holland

SPRINT: Ireland

MAIN:

1: USA
2: Great Britain
3: Holland
4: Ireland
5: China
6: South Africa

There will be a point for the correct polesitter, a point for the sprint race winner, a point for each of your top six who finish in the real top six, and an additional point for each one who is in the position you predict.

This gives a maximum score per round of 14 points.

(If you predict the same country in two of the top six positions, by mistake, you score no points for either of those positions).

At the end of the season, the person with the most points will be the champion of the competition.

The deadline for entries for each round will be the start of Free Practice on the Friday.

Hopefully you will enjoy taking part - I'll post a thread for Brands Hatch entries ten days before the race.
