Radio Control Touring Cars are 1/10 replicas of the real thing. Power can come from batteries or fuel. They are loads of fun (especially mine in rally guise) and are raced at local and national level.

Believe it or not, you can get from 1/24 scale up to 1/4 scale!

I can guess that you paid £70 to £120 for your TLO-1, unless it was a present. I paid £200 for my Yokomo. 1/8 cars are around £300, 1/5 cars are between £500 to £800, 1/4 cars are £1000+
Expensive it may seem, but the running costs are minimal and a tank of glo-fuel lasts about half an hour (at least. I managed to get 3/4 of an hour from a mates Honda Accord BTCC 1/5 scale petrol car. Averaged 60 mph at a local R/C race track!!!)
