Website Outage 6-September-2005

I tried to visit www.ten-tenths.com last hour, but it didn't work (time out errors).

At 3:10pm forum time the decision was made to take an emergency maintenance window and to re-boot the main web server to try and resolve the performance issues.

During this reboot several issues were noted with the file system on the web server, at 3:25pm the decisions was made to physically visit the server and investigate the problems.

Maintenance actions were taken on the server and the server was brought back online at approximately 4:30pm

Monitoring of the web server will continue until we are happy with the performance.

Every time I see it says Website Outage I always read it as outrage and get excited that something unusual is happening...until I read it again. Never mind!
