Ron Dennis - "We are sore losers!"

From F1 News:

Ron Dennis' words...

"We are sore losers and will therefore try to strike back as soon as possible," said Dennis. "In Melbourne Ferrari had an advantage. However, we know which advantage they had and will try to solve this. We will take revenge in Sepang!"

So. Is Our Ronny using Frentzen's Traction Control worries as his 'proof', or does he know a little more than he lets on? ;)

I think he is definitely referring to traction control. Buried in the software, but legal soon, Bernie is not going to go looking for it on a Ferrari. Its a green light for McLaren, and you will see it in Sepang, no doubt.

I know i do not like Ron.
But i do not think that his "advantage" here refers to traction control. I was more of thinking along the line that Ron knows in which aspects the Ferrari is better (could be the aero or speed instead of TC) and thus push the team towards these...

However, one thing i totally agree is that Ron is a suckling freaky sore loser.

If Ron Dennis had a heart, tattooed over it would be the words "It's Not Fair!"

"Sore Loser" is his middle name.

The Orange Understatement of the Year award goes to
Envelope please...

(Drumroll)

Ron Dennis! Not usually known for devastating understatements, Ron Dennis earned this years prize, for the phrase "We are sore losers." This has to rank as one of the great understatements of the last hundred years.

Congratulations Ron!

From the foregoing, I can see that there are a few here who are not that loving of poor Ron... to compensate for this unfair treatment, I therefore propose that someone here should start a "We love Ron" club. There must be someone here who thinks kindly of Ron, surely - anyone??
 :(

I like Ron, Valve. For his 'meticulousness' and his 'army-like' approach...something Ferrari lacks.
He is very sore tho.
Probably bcoz the last piece in his Jigzaw isnt in place?
Michael.
Im sure hell be a jolly good fellow if he had the Schu now, if not both the Schus.

Say I think even Dino missed out, Ron's expression after a Schuey victory is so much like the MP16's air intake!!!

You must be sore loser in this game. Politics off of the track are worth more than a win. Ron and McLaren cannot win any battles with the FIA when Ferrari is involved, and so he takes his case public. He expects to win and expects McLaren to perform in the win. He could have been referring to TC, but he could also have been referring to an improved package overall from Ferrari.

Who isn't a sore loser ? (I am )
Anybody with a competitive edge is I'm sure .
What's he supposed to say... I don't mind not winning
Ron is one of... if not the best at what he does nobody can argue with that.
Where did Ferrari get 4 secs from, come on that's not down to tyres alone.

Well, the Macs got 3.5 secs as well. From the tyres... The other 0.5 sec could be that lovely looking low nose? I can hardly wait the next GP...
