Good day all. Just purchased HU-34 not long ago and was looking for some help with a few things.

1) Any information anyone might have on the car. I have original documentation, history, pictures, etc., but if anyone else has some please let me know.
2) Parts. I am in need of a black tinted lexan windscreen, the 3-ear knock-off spinners for the wheels, clear headlight lexan covers, and just spares in general. ANY help in this area will much appreciated. I used to deal w/ Chevron directly with my B-16 and haven’t the slightest idea with whom to deal w/ in regards to Lola's.
3) Any helpful hints, or insight that I should know about w/ 212's

I am aware of the possibility of HU-34"B" existing, but I can assure you with the documentation and history that I have, that this is #34.

I'm new to this site, so any you may give me will be much appreciated.

I can assure you with the documentation and history that I have, that this is #34. Please don't take this th wtrong way but some of us hear the "I can assure you" line all the time and they can't all be right. Can you summarise the history of your car?

I'm away from my office right now but I can tell you the following history of the car as I understand and have records:
Car originally sold to Carl Haas in May 28, 1971 painted in orange livery.
Guy Edwards campaigned the car. (I believe)
*Tony Birchenhough (1972)*
I believe it was sold to Dorsett Racing then in 1972/1973.
The car sold to J. Busby and raced in vintage.
Crashing heavily, the car was purchased and rebuilt by Baker Racing of Carrying Place Ontario.
Duncan Baker raced the car with great success.
The car then sold to Al Carlotti from Rhode Island in 1997.
Al sold the car to me in 2006.

Correct me if I'm wrong, please. When I return I can give you the detailed history as I have it.

*From my understanding Tony wrecked the car hard and Lola rebulit the chassis. As far as there being a 34"B"...I dont know. I can tell you the chassis numbers read "MODEL 212. CHASSIS No. H.U. 34."

Also if any of you can help me out w/ where to get spares, let me know. Thanks

Hi Zappa

There is a significant gap in that history of course. Dorset Racing may well have had HU34 in 1973 but many years elapsed before Busby ran a T212 in vintage racing. I'm guessing at least 20 years. Do you know where your car was during that period and how confident are you that you can link the Dorset Racing car in 1973 to the Busby car?

Please don't think I'm getting on your back to moment you venture onto 10 Tenths. But someone needs to ask the testing questions when we look at any car and it's my turn this week.

Allen, I do know that I have quite a bit of documentation on the car at my office, however I will not be back until tomorrow to check on that. Off the top of my head I cannot say if those documents show when and where the car went between that period. I would figure that it would, but I am sure some people on this site have info that I do not have. If you have any info, please let me know.

The HU34B reference comes, at least in part from Autosport's Wunstors race report in August 1972:

"Tony Birchenough drove the Dorset Foods backed 1972 T212 (chassis HU34B and the last to be built)"

OK the T212 was a 1971 car, and there were later numbers than HU34, which I may mean this was a newly built 1972 chassis.

Birchenough switched to an FVC from a BMW at this race, so this may have been the first race for the new/rebuilt chassis? The previous race I have for him in a T212-BMW is the ADAC 1000kms in late May (DNF)
