Patsy Burt was the FIRST woman to win a NATIONAL title when she won the 1970 British Sprint Championship and she is still the only woman to have won an RAC/MSA NATIONAL title.

Certainly Britains most successful hill climb driver.

Certainly amongst the Lady Drivers.

Tony Marsh with SIX British Hillclimb Titles may be considered the best although Andy Priaulx's World Saloon Title may just eclipse Marsh!

Patsy Burt is still the only lady driver to win a British Sprint Championship round, in fact she won 6 rounds and set 3 new course records en route to the Sprint title in 1970.

She did set several FTDs on the hills but she never won a British Hillclimb Championship round with second place at Stapleford in 1960 being her best result.
