Rnd 1 of the GTP nations cup was held on the weekend at the adelaide 500 as a support class to the V8 supercars.
race 1 saw the beatifull lamborghini diablo of Paul stokell take victory from jim richards in a porsche GT3 third was the ferrari 360 modena of Young mark Noske.
race 2 saw the ferrari's fight back with Noske taking the win from jim richards and steve webb both in GT3's.
so the pionts score after one meeting is
1. Mark noske 26
2. Jim richards 24
3. Paul stokell 23
4. Steve webb 15
5. greg keene 9

the nations cup is the high performance section of GTP cars like the lambo , porsche GT3 and Vipers as well..there is also a series for the normal everyday GTP car but the nations cup provides spectators with the top end of the category and with more cars coming into the series in the next few round the series looks like being a great one.
