It was wet :(

The new TVR looks very nice, it was obviously quick (until it fell off the track :) ) but it was far too quiet.

The GT3 Porsches are as quick as the GT2 cars so we should be in for some nice close races in the coming year, with every possibility of a GT3 overall win.

There were some nice cars in the rest of the field, a matt black coloured Camaro and a CAE Corse (Lancia Stratos replica), the big Marcos LM600s sounded glorious but I believe they made poor tyre choices which hampered their progress.

The signs are good for the rest of the season.

Not a bad race. The in car commentary with John Cleland over the PA was an excellent idea http://www.ten-tenths.com/ubb/icons/icon14.gif

Shame about the rest of the PowerTour package... (oh sorry, have I said that before ? :))

It was the best race of the weekend, easily.. The battle between Hughes and Jordan was fantastic - although it was slightly rude when Hughes got pushed on to the track..

The 'in car' commentary actually lost Cleland / Hughes the race..(in my opinion) As everyone took their pit stops, Cleland found himself in the lead. The safety car then came out - but missed Cleland!!! So he had a clear lap with everyone else bottled up behind the safety car (it took over a lap top get the backmarkers past).

If Cleland had come in at the end of that lap, he would have had almost a whole lap on everyone, but was busy talking on the radio to the commentator rather than his pit crew!!!

It would have been good viewing to see if the Lister had the legs to chase Hughes down in the remaining laps....
