T/A Race called oVer in Middle of Lap 35...What a Joke!

This is simply unbelievable. How can a lap start, under authorization of race control, and then suddenly not count??!!! This is just a joke and one more example of SCCA's gross incompotence. SCCA better comp everyone whose car got damaged on the "last" lap, cause that wouldn't have happeneed if the green wasn't shown. http://www.speedvision.com/pub/articles/racing/06road/000416c.html

Gees, cant wait until it comes on tv...sounds pretty wacky....

But the wrong flags have been shown before, and you just disregard this as a human error...changing the results 2hrs later like that is a joke...

I was there at Long Beach, and what a farce. The final lap was a demolition derby, and all for nothing. They kept saying over the PA system--8 minutes to go, 5 minutes to go, etc. But the final 5 minutes were a very long 5 minutes. Everyone was hoping for a last lap sprint, and I think that the organizers got caught up in the excitement. This was perhaps one mistake, they should have overlooked, and left the results as they were. A very costly final lap for many, and for nothing.

The SCCA is what the IBF is to boxing!
