Quick valuation request

A request on another forum that I thought might get some useful responses here:

Not sure if anyone here is going to be able to help but i need to get a couple of valuations (rough guides) on the following for Death Estate purposes.

Austin Healey Sports (1968) 1275cc, red and in mint condition;
Land Rover Light 4x4 Utility (1959) 2.2D in very good condition.

Can anyone shed any light on where i could get valuations or does anyone here have sufficient knowledge to put a legitimate price on them?

I guess a stock answer is that it very much depends on condition and a visual inspection...

Old cars can be a bit like houses - they are worth what someone will pay for them.

I'd be up for the Landy. :)

Still you asked for useful answers and I guess I haven't given one, they are outside my area.

Can't help with the UK market. Have you/they tried the price guides in the classic car mags, or contacting relevant clubs?

Just spotted this.

You might want to look at the Classc mags for an idea but I'd say the Healey Sprite will be worth around £4k in mint condition.
