I chose Fab and Flash for the wrong race I think! :(

Hmm, the championship is shaping up fairly well so far for me although Paddockman seems to be pulling away a little...
Yep, you're filling in the role of James Thompson quite neatly...off for a couple of rounds by any chance?;)
I'm deliberately letting you all build up a deceptive lead before I storm through to reclaim my title. I think touringlegend's doing the same, he's better at it than me :nyah:

R we still using the origional rules?
As if we are I make it that I only scored 12points and Oval Junky scored 11!
Sorry to be a pain but just wanted to clarify this!
Still using the old system, yes.
Which means pole guesser gets 5, a correct top 3 guess in position gets 3, and out of position gets 1.
You score 13 because you get 5pts for Plato on pole, 1 point for Neal being in the top 3 in race 1, 3 points for guessing Neal and Shedden's correct positions in race two, and another point for Plato being in the top 3 in race 3.
So that's 5+1+3+3+1 = 13
Oval_Junky Plato's pole (+5), Neal 3rd in race one (+3), Neal 1st in race two (+3), and Thompson 2nd in race 3 (+3) > 5+3+3+3 = 14
All sound good? I'll post a points clarification with the next race as this is getting confusing. I think this system works okay with the BTCC due to the number of races - it just doesn't work well with the DTM with it's one race format, as a simple pole guess is worth over half as much as guessing the entire top three!

Thanks alot for that clarification.
Think you may have missed that James Kaye was third in Race One not Matt Neal.:)
Yep, that's what went wrong.
You know the rules! Kaye's not allowed on the podium, it's a special unwritten regulation.
Sorry, I offer a revision then.
