Having spent much of Saturday night and early Sunday morning watching Motors TV and willing the DBR9 on to a GT1 victory (it failed!) at Le Mans, I decided I needed to get out! A bit parochial, I know, but it made a very pleasant change to attend an event held only a couple of miles away.
One of the few vehicles actually from the vintage era was this rather splendid 1929 Lagonda 3-litre, owned by David Baker, who turned out to live in our nearest neighbouring village. I thought I would share these images, of a true classic, with you!
