stacey_coner 27 Jun 2006, 13:13 hi everyone
i am moto gp crazed female living in west london for over 10 years (more than half my life).
my friend who was gonna come to donington park this weekend with me cannot make it, so now i hava a spare pass.
i am a great fan of casey stoner, and hoping to find someone (preferablly a girl) who also supports him.
please drop me a line if you would like to volunteer. if you are a girl and living not too far from me i can arrange a pick-up. otherwise we can meet you at the entrance.
Stephen Green 27 Jun 2006, 13:15 Welcome to ten-tenths and I hope you find a good home for your spare ticket!
Stephen Green 27 Jun 2006, 15:00 I thought you were asking me for a moment Zac ;)
DavidStHubbins 27 Jun 2006, 15:20 Sell it on ebay! Be quick though.
stacey_coner 27 Jun 2006, 16:05 i'm not australian, i am in fact japanese by my origin.
i discovered casey when he was running britsh 125 and then i knew he would be where he is now!
i do not want to sell the pass on ebay, i have no intention to make a profit on it, i'd rather share my joy with someone i can be with....
I had Donnington MotoGP on my motorsport list of things 'to do' earlier this year but I kind of forgot all about it.
If you do struggle to find someone more appropriate, let me know and I could come with you. I love all motor racing. I'll borrow an Australian flag :)
Whitestar 27 Jun 2006, 20:44 well if you turn up you will find another 10ther working on the Donington Rescue unit at Foggies Esses call by and say hello ! I have watched Casey over the years too and his porformance this year sayes a lot . Call by for a natter. I will be in blue overalls.

I have been in the past but, like last year, I have decided to stay at home and watch on TV. I get bored with my own company when spectating (not something I do very often). Such a shame I didn't read your thread earlier, we could have met up.

:offtopic:
I'm feeling a domestic coming on! :hammer: Now I know what he gets up to when I'm not around!
Oh, and for the record, dearest husband, you'll ALL be in blue!
Slippy Diff 27 Jun 2006, 23:47 I have watched Casey over the years too and his porformance this year sayes a lot says a lot for the abrasive resistance of his leathers....
Sheila, I think he would be coloured red after that outburst :D
Stacey, do you have travel plans yet?
stacey_coner 28 Jun 2006, 12:44 i'll be drinving from london to donington park on sat, hoping to arrive around 1pm.
sat night i will stay over in hinckley (where triumph factory is located) and drive back on sun morning!
this weekend is meant to be hot with no rain! (remember last year)
OK That is a good plan. Keep me informed, cheers.
Didn't discover MotoGP until quite recently, but have been to Donington on thursday, friday, saturday and sunday for the last four years - only time I've had company has been on raceday, and maybe it's me just being anti-social, but I've loved being at the track on my own the first three days, do what you want when you want, stay as short or as long a time as you want. :)
Giving it a miss this year - how much are they charging?!?! :( Hope you have a good time, though, Stacey - if I was going, we'd have to arrange a meet. :)
Sheila M 29 Jun 2006, 22:13 Sheila, I think he would be coloured red after that outburst :D
Nah, he knows I was only joking ;)
