Watching the BTCC coverage for the first time in, well, forever...

The coverage isn't too bad but who the hell is the dreadful bint doing the driver interviews? She reminds me of the equally bad Dawn McDaniel! :o

You mean Fran Robinson?
She's a motorsport journalist and presenter who does a lot of stuff for Channel 4.

You can't compare her to Dawn, who was an out of work actress who just happened to be sleeping with someone involved in the BTCC.

Never seen her before. I didnt like her style though, I'm afraid, far too giggly and overly 'matey' with the drivers. VB-H somehow manages to make it work but Fran doesn't sadly. IMHO of course.

VB-H not too giggly/girlie??? Obviously you didn't see her on-grid exchange with Plato at Croft.

Nope, not a regular viewer. But when I was she somehow seemed to be more genuine (?) and it seemed more natural.

Yep think Plato put her off saying the whole team had the hots for her. ;)


Two of them probably know each other too well through Fifth Gear, maybe gets in the way during interviews.
