if you look at the footage of the crash
Tamada san falls from his bike, and then amazingly clinches onto Kennys bike.
please answer me this.
If Tamada gets a leg over it , rights it
then carriess on racing, and lets say hypotheticly wins the race, what would happen, IE he is not on his own bike?
is there anything in the rules to say you must finish the race on your own bike, especialy if yours has actualy been taken from you!!

bad luck to both riders a great shame. but an interesting question

Awww... my memory's failing now, can't remember the circuit, but when Vermuelen had that warm-up lap crash, the rider who gave him a lift to start line got penalised, didn't he? So the question is what really gets penalised, the rider or the bike carrying his number?!

That was World Superbike, and I think that was down to the safety issue of having 2 guys on a bike at once.

I assume the rules would have disqualified Tamada, but it's hardly an issue - he was probably trying to avoid being crushed.

the motogp rules state that one rider may give another rider a lift, but no one else. ie. hayden (giving his dad a lap) at last years USGP.. but i think they let that one slide
