What stood out most about last years WSBK championship? I think the best bit was the Home boys stuffing a couple of shots at the world riders. And what abou the rest? Rossi's charge to second place , the dueling Yamahas in 250 and the revival of Derbi in 125

Agree with all of the above and I'd like to include Garry McCoy's slides, er rides, throughout the season. And Rossi's comments about selling tickets :)
Also Troy Corsers run at the WSBK title on a bike that probably shouldn't have been in the hunt.

And of course Troy Bayliss on the Ducati. A brilliant run considering how many rounds he didn't get to compete in.
My vote goes to Jacques' ride in the last race (although I cheered for Nakano :()- the outcome of the C'ship depended on the outcome and he had the 'cool' to gamble it on the last corner of the last lap.
I wish MotoGP races would return to Grobnik track (Rijeka).
elephino, you said it all :)

Roberts for his display of head over heart.
McCoy and Rossi for the promise of things to come.
In the supers, Baylis for fulfilling the promise of 1997. Corser for showing 1997 was no fluke.
