Ok the streets of Denver are up this weekend , thought I would get the thread up nice and early so we can sit and contemplate what is going to happen.
Remember there will be no Cristiano Da Matta this weekend due to his terrible accident at Road America , and he is obviously in our hearts and minds as we head into another weekend of competition.
Ru sport will not enter a replacement driver this weekend either for him.
So to the competition
a change of format this weekend.
we want the Pole sitter
Top 6 finishers
First car out of the race
the final point is a new addition this weekend.
In the event of a multi car pile up or something like that at turn 1 I will take whatever car the Champcar world series website has listed as first out of the race (I think thats the fair way to do it)
If a driver fails to make the start due to mechanical problems or a morning warm up session incident I will also take that as first car out of the race due to them not even making it , but will also take the official first car out of the race as well.
For example.
if say Bruno Junquiera has an accident in the morning warm up and fails to make the race everyone who picked him will get 1 point.
But in the actual race if Jan Heylen retires first then everyone who picked him will also get 1 point
therefore if you picked either of those 2 drivers you will recicieve the point.
