Newman/Haas penalized for Rio 200 pit incident

CART Chief Steward Kirk Russell announced Thursday that Newman/Haas Racing and driver Michael Andretti will forfeit the prize money and FedEx Championship Series points earned at the Rio 200 for making contact with two of his crew members during a pit stop in the Round 3 event. good job too. that means andretti's yet to score again. hehehe....
it was good they punished him. having said that, i do have to be careful on this one. it was my driver who started all this hullabaloo.
feel sorry for the team. andretti didn't have much of an excuse this time.

Considering they have run into and over more of their pit crew than any other team, they are the ones who should pay. And now they will know enough to watch out!
