Are they Snell 2005? I would want at least ten years use out of them at that price.

SA 2000 for the JPM replica and the Kimi is not for race use. Seems to me you could buy a helmet and hve it painted by a professional for less.

That Kimi Monaco helmet is awesome. He seems to have pretty cool ones for Monaco.

Seems lots of money for something that doesn't really have any provenance other than being painted by the same guy.

The motorcycling crowd seem to be keen on buying (mass produced) replica helmets but there doesn't seem to be anything like that for us four-wheelers, you'd think there would be a market for a "F1 replica" lid for £50-100 over the price of a white coloured one.

Its not for those of us who use them. I often wonder why we get our helmets painted anyway. I got mine done in diamond white............... oh wait!

The Montoya one is also not an exact replica as its a different type of helmet to what he uses. The one for sale there has only got one air vent where as the higher priced Arai's have 3 and I'm sure Montoya has the best most safe helmet ;)

Now that is anally retentive folks!

Yeah, it didn't look right to me. They did have a race used one from his Williams days on eBay a few weeks back.....very nice helmet, always liked the chrome design until he started making the flag colours chromey also and then McLaren finished the design for good with their stupid West logo stripe.
