ok, i've just seen a really good cart evening on eurosport.
the start your engines coverege is naff. it's only the incidents, and i didn't get anything about what went on.
the full(ish) race coverege is better, cause it retains the original commentary (one of whom is a blatent memo gidley fan). so obviously there's a better idea of what's going on. it's obvious if they want people to watch the race they'll need more than a commentary of 'and that's a crash, and that's a crash, and that's a winner' for highlights.

apparently, according to teletext, the motegi race is live, but i'll have to check on that when the actual schedule comes on tomorrow. if so, yes!!! although i'm not sure if i could be bothered to get out of bed at 5 in the morning to watch the damn thing.

We get the full race from Eurosport and it's quite good.

However, I know what you mean, because we get that kind of coverage of the BTCC races - one hour of highlights cover both the sprint race and the feature race. There goes Muller off, there goes Menu off, there's Matt Neil banging into JCB, there's Aiello winning the race, here's a few commercials, oops, crash, woo-hoo, sorry, Leslie wins, g'bye!

This is not racing. This is cartoons.

I've given up with Europsort - shyte, shyte, shyte. It is doing CART's image no good at all to have such poor coverage - all races should be live - not just a few of them to those who are lucky enough to have British Eurosport :(

CART should approach BBC, ITV, Channel 4 & C5 about covering the series next year. OK, ITV probably wouldn't go for it due to it's commitment to F1, but C5 would surely ? They love this sort of thing, and it's cheap!
