What's the exhaust (exit "tip" size) size on racing cars these days--Nascar, F1, CART, IRL, WRC, Nascar, Supertouring, FIA GT, LMP, etc..
thanks ahead.

From seeing the cars, NASCAR and CART machines run oblong shaped exhaust exits. The NASCAR machines exhaust exits just before the rear wheels on the driver's side of the car. They look to be about 1.5" X 6". The CART machines exhaust exits between the upper and lower suspension arms on the right rear corner of the chassis. Looking a picture of one of Penske's chassis, it looks to be about 1" X 8". Sports cars, due to the myriad engine and chassis combinations, probably have all sizes of exhaust tips. WRC cars, I have no idea.
