Recently we fitted heads studs on one of our six cylinder speedway cars. We read 'cycle the studs five times'. Anybody else fitted these and how did u 'cycle' those studs?..........trikes

Usually it means that you have to assemble the heads, and you go through a precess of tightening up the studs (in the proper order) and then backing them off, usually a quarter or half turn, and then re tensioning them up to a specific point. You do this to stretch the bolts to there proper tension, so that when the engine is running the bolts do not have any slack in them.
