Looking to book seats for this years Monaco GP but decide which grandstand to get tickets for. Has anybody got any good advice/tips/websites. Apologies if this has already been discussed.

For goodness sake, just watch the telly and get on of those consolidation loans, coz yer gonna need to remortgage your house to get a seat at Monaco!
Eitehr that or hire a berth or a boat!!
Got to Pau or Macau, much nicer places and much, much, much better races.
Casino square offers a good view http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/30396982/?qo=166&q=by%3Aolly83&qh=sort%3Atime+-in%3Ascraps
This is a shot from 2005 the sound is great too, as the cars reverb off all the buildings. bring earplugs!!
I'd like to just encourage people with good suggestions about Monaco to add them to the wiki entry (http://www.ten-tenths.com/wiki/index.php/Monaco_Street_Circuit), to provide a database for anyone else wishing to travel to the principality

I've been twice and watched from the Cafe de Paris on Casino Square. You don't get a fantastic view (just the tops of the cars) but there is a big screen and numerous smaller monitors. The atmosphere is great and you get a three course meal with wine while before the race.
www.montecarloresort.com shows where it is.
There are also a number other venues offering views which aren't the official grandstands.

Have anybody experience which the place "Rocher" for look to the GP?
Is it necessary for booked a "Rocher" ticket in pre-sale?
Or can you also perfect buy a ticket (day by day) on the circuit for "Rocher"?
For Saterday is it 40€ and for Sunday 70€, on the table (http://www.formula1monaco.com/Page/Tarifs.aspx) can you see for Thursday "Not available".
Is it really not available? I read yaers ago on another forum that it is free entry on Thursday on Rocher...
it is free on thursday and friday to go onto the rocher section.
last year, tickets for rocher were sold out on sunday, and weren't available at any point during the weekend so it's best to buy early. and also arrive very early on the day, it is difficult to find a spot after 9am.
