Renault Driver Development Program

Hey!

I was just wanting to find out how the drivers are selected for the RDD program?
Does renaultf1 team select them or do the drivers ask to be in the program? If the drivers ask to be in it, who do they speak to?

Also, I was wanting to know the same for other Driver Development Programs, i.e. Toyota, Honda etc..

I think they get picked by Renault. Same for Toyota and Honda. You probably need to know someone who knows the bosses of the programs to put in a good word or two for you.

i think renault scout at national meetings and then choose from a shortlist that the scouts created
