FRC Round 6 - Le Mans

This is the official prediction thread for Round 6 of the Fantasy Racing Challenge, which is the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans. Pertinent information can be found as follows:

If you have not read through the rules and information thread, please do so, as the format is somewhat unique. Your submission should include your pole prediction for each class along with your pick(s) for each class winner. Reminder: You can pick up to three cars for your class winning choice. I have no set format for submitting your picks as long as it is easy to follow. A submission may look like this:

All predictions should be in by 6:00pm local time Wednesday, June 13th. This is one hour prior to the first timed practice session. Reminder, this race offers tripple points. Good luck to everyone!

Competition Note: Since each of the four practice sessions are timed and count towards qualifying, predictions must be made prior to Wednesday's first session. The upcoming test day will be your only chance to observe times for each car. You will have that information along with previous competition experience prior to this year's race to aid in your predictions.

jesus christ this is gonna be hard what with the deisels in p1 and how quick creation are looking in there shakedown at snetterton..any chance i can put my predictions in mid race lol...

ill probably wait till after the test day's so i have an idea of who to go for, this will be particularly helpful with GT2 and LMP2, i think LMP1 in speed is going to only be between peugeot and audi but we shall see, i expect arena to throw up a surprise and the same with rollcentre and charouz.

mind you it will probably be an RML walkover like last year, or hopefully ASM will do well as well, i think ASM deserve atleast 1 LM class win but i still want that barazi epsilon zytek to win, but i do like the lowe's epsilon zytek as well.

I don't know how I've managed to miss this, but I have, so best of luck to everyone who is in the competition.

I'm sure the Audi team are glad the Penske Porsches aren't here!! I think they will be be on top in the diesel class. I'm hoping the Rollcentre Racing Pescarolo will be the best petrol car. The LMP2 entry will be the usual last man standing although I would like to see the #33 Zytek up there and the Works Radical. Oreca might well spring a surprise in the GT1's and a Ferrari 430 will win the GT2 class.

There's a certain amount of relief that I won't be so worried about the results at the end of this particular competition. I will be back in it for the Nurburgring though.

my word that was a hard one to predict considering lmp2 only had 2 finishers . but at least i came away with 1 pole and 2 wins not to bad eh?

P1 pole and win, plus GT2 win went right for most. Many also picked the P2 pole correctly. Interesting to see who gambled well and got the most points. :)

I got the LMP1 and LMP2 pole, plus the LMP1 and GT1 win. Not as good as I would have expected, but at least I did pick a lot of second place cars or cars which were leading towards the end.

I sucked! serves me right for picking all the yank cars! I don't think anybody would have picked Binnie in P2 but great effort he and his team made to take that win!

I didn't do so hot either. Two of the class winners and one pole.
