| Turn off images |
| In your User Control Panel, take a look at your Options function.
In the Thread Display option, there are some checkboxes. These checkboxes determine what will display on your screen when you are reading posts.
If you uncheck the boxes for "Avatars" and "Images" this will stop you from seeing any additional graphics apart from the standard forum ones. |
| If you are using Internet Explorer |
| Internet Explorer looks at web pages in a certain way. To speed up your access, you can tell it not to full reload a page unless it has changed. To do this in IE go to Tools/Internet Options
In the section for "Temporary Internet Files" click on the "Settings" button.
In the section for "Check for new versions of the page", make sure it is set to Automatic |
