Pre-1999, Lakeside was considered "too fast and dangerous"....amazing that since safety and hairpins of QR turned up everyone wants to get back to Lakeisde..."oh well, we are racing drivers after all".
If they did get their $1.5 million it would turn it into one fine race track...although their most recent grand plan didn't seem terribly well thought out- they had a tunnel under the last turn, a rather flood prone area....
