In Doug Nye's Castrol racing drivers manual by Frank Gardner (published Oct 73)is a photo of the first Gardner Camaro captioned ' The original SCA Camaro was an ex-Bill Shaw 5.7 litre Z28. It started winning when the Gardner - Chambers combination came into being ....'
