Has Adam Carroll's budget this year really been that uncertain?
Afterall he's completed the season - and that wasn't on thin air.
I can't help feel there may have been a sympathy card played there in order to portray himself as the plucky underdog.
We'll never know for certain, but it's an interesting thought.
