The owner, Roger Townshend, also owns the 1973 RS2600 which Paul Fahey imported into New Zealand. Was aparently a spare works car. Fahey raced it for one season as purchased before importing a quad-cam engine for it. He was well connected at Boreham, had previously purchased the spare Allan Mann FVA Escort from the 1969 season. |
Ross Bremer campaigns one just like that here in the States. I believe it's the old Horst Kwech and Harry Theodoracopulos car. I have also seen Brian Redman run a dark blue one out of Bob Akin stable of cars. But that was about a year or two before Bob passed
