An even better idea than a week is to make it just over 2 weeks, that way you could do the test day as well as that is 2 weeks before the race  And see a bit of France in the week off between the two.

I would actually rather spend the off-time in the UK. Been there once and want to see more. I didn't make it to MG Motorsport in Hemel-Hempstead last time and I promised myself that I would get there one day. (A chance to bring home some presents for my MGC GT!!)
