I believe he tried as much as he could but claimed that the promoter James Obrien had little or no interest in the Australian GT field and was more focused on getting internationals to the race.

From what i remember in 2010 there were rumblings already within the production runners regarding how james obrien treated them, made decisions, entry costs increasing significantly etc.

The promoter needs to do what they can to fix the schedule clashes next year, maybe even change the event to a december or early aprill date. To put gt cars on the map in australia the race needs the australian contingent to support it.
