I only got this second hand from paddock gossip but someone turned up with a Lotus Cortina with an out of date FiA seat and was turned away. He then went and saw a friend who lives nearby and got an original seat out of friends Lotus Cortina. He went back to the scrutineers with it fitted an was turned away again as he said it wasn't a proper Lotus Cortina seat.

I better not chuck those standard seats away from an old Camaro I'm breaking then.
So what about if they tilt forward as in to let the rear seat passengers get in on the original car is that OK? mind you I must admit some standard seats are a lot more substantial than some aftermarket seats.
