Grid figures won't be the problem this year, as they'll integrate a dozen or more cars from the defunct Mini-Challenge into their field. Quality is of course another matter.

Also, the M3s were in the under 2.5l class, whereas the Sierras and Skylines were in the class above. There also was a third division - dominated by the Opel Kadetts- that normally ran separate races.
