Yes, most likely correct. All of the series below Sprint Cup, both NASCAR, ARCA and whatever other stock car series there are, have young drivers, right in the same age group. A WHOLE lot of young talent coming up, honing their skills, waiting in the wings, to move up into Sprint Cup, in the next few years. Talent wise, the future is VERY STRONG, indeed, for NASCAR!
I agree with you, that it is ashamed, that he was not in an ARCA car, instead of what was basically, a Sprint Cup car (and team). Would have been interesting to see how he would have faired, with the same caliber/level of equipment, instead of equipment that was several degrees superior to the rest of the field!
