But he does get a F1 test.
And permission to drive elsewhere that does not conflict with Indycar 2023.
So he can test F1, even drive in FP1, if some team so desires, between now and the end of 2023..... as long as its not an Indycar weekend.
It also may mean he can do something else like Hypercar/LMP1/IMSA/LMP2/Japanese GT if its not an Indycar weekend.
So he could do WEC or IMSA outside CGR/Cadillac if he so desired although it seems the F1 thing is in his sights right now. Having a Super License also acts as a bonus. What happens if he is doing an FP1 next year or this year and an opportunity like the de Vries Monza drive occurs?
