To be fair, the dual carriageway takes you pretty much to the gate. If anything, the likes of Croft, Oulton Park and Knockhill are more difficult to get to in that sense.

Different strokes for different people. I can get to Knockhill quicker than Snetterton from Halifax. And Knockhill is further away.
