Drivers are being urged to "allow extra time" for travel this weekend due to a closure on the M180 in both directions.
The motorway shut between junctions 2 (A161) and 3 (M181) at 8pm on Friday evening and will not open again until 6am on Monday (April 29) while National Highways remove a damaged bridge beam.

Full signed diversions are in place:
M180 eastbound - leave Woodhouse junction 2, onto the A161, A18 until junction with M181 (retail park) then M181 re-joining the M180 at junction 3 eastbound.
M180 westbound - leave M180 junction 3 north onto the M181 until retail park junction with the A18, west onto A18 onto the junction with the A161, then south to re-join the M180 at junction 2.

Saturday and Sunday the diversion route in morning will add approximately 15-20 minutes to your travel time.

Going home 20-30 minutes to your travel time.

Alternative routes leaving the circuit
Market Rasen – Gainsborough – Bawtry leads to A1 M18 & M1 South
Humber Bridge M62
Going South A46 Market Rasen – Lincoln – Nottingham/Leicester to M1
