Don't look at it being a failed sponsorship attempt, just consider yourself a patron.
My budget for the year is very similar to yours and I will be racing Monoposto and some 750MC F4 races in a Formula Renault, which includes a race in Spa...
I don't really know anything about saloons but I always want as much speed as possible for my money, hence single seaters. So you could go FF1600 - very good races and full grids, FF1800 in the Mono and F4 championship or run a 1982 Van Diemen FF2000 in the URS pre-83 and F4 championships. With that budget you could be very competitive.
