According to Motorsport-Total, Mercedes will confirm Vitaly Petrov tomorrow. Should be good for the Russian market then and maybe it'll push the DTM in Russia even more.
So unless Roberto Mehri stays in DTM (As he's tested a FR3.5 car), that'd leave one more open seat, IF Mercedes goes to eight cars. But their are strong signs for this: For once, DTM will change their qualifying format for 2014, where 18 cars will make it into Q2. In my opinion, it wouldn't make much sense to just remove four cars after Q1.
While I'm at it, the race format will also be slightly modified: There will still be a race over 70 minutes, but there will only be one mandatory pit stop.
