Just seems a shame to me not to make this event part of the Australian GT championship. The series runs to GT3 regulations so would surely only strengthen the event. Similar things have happened in other races such as the Spa 24 hours, for years it was part of the FIA GT championship. Too bad we dont get any coverage of Aussie GT's anymore, from what I have seen on the entry list and results pages there seems to be some decent quality.
